Who I am

What data I collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your name and email address
- Your WhatsApp number (if you choose to provide it)
- Which programme you are interested in
- Your answer to "what made you interested in NeuroLearn?"
When you use the platform
- Your name and email (used to identify your account)
- Which sessions you have completed and your progress
- Messages you send to the AI tutor and the AI tutor's responses
- Which programme you are enrolled in
What I do NOT collect
- Payment card details (handled entirely by Stripe or Wise — I never see your card number)
- Your location beyond what you choose to tell me
- Any data from your device beyond what is necessary to run the platform
Why I collect it and how I use it
- Your name and email — to contact you personally, send your access code, and discuss your programme
- Your WhatsApp number — to contact you quickly if you prefer WhatsApp, and to support you between sessions
- Your AI tutor conversations — so I can review what you worked on before our live sessions and prepare relevant support. I read these to help you, not to profile you.
- Your programme interest and reason — to personalise my outreach and make sure I recommend the right programme for your situation
- Your session progress — stored in your browser (localStorage) so you do not lose your place between sessions
Who sees your data
Maheesha Jani
Only me. I am the only person with access to your waitlist information, your contact details, and your conversation logs. I do not have employees or contractors with data access.
Anthropic (AI conversations only)
The AI tutor is powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. When you send a message to the AI tutor, that message is processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle API data — you can read it at anthropic.com/privacy. Anthropic does not use API conversation data to train their models by default.
Supabase (data storage)
Your waitlist information and conversation logs are stored in Supabase, a database service. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant and stores data securely. I am the only person with access to this database.
No one else
I do not sell your data. I do not share it with advertisers, marketing companies, or any third parties beyond those listed above. I do not use your data for any purpose other than running your NeuroLearn programme.
Cookies and tracking
NeuroLearn does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics that identify you personally. I use browser localStorage to save your session progress — this stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.
How long I keep your data
I keep your data for as long as you are a NeuroLearn student or on the waitlist. If you ask me to delete your data, I will do so within 7 days and confirm by email.
Your rights
- Access — you can ask me what data I hold about you
- Correction — you can ask me to correct any inaccurate information
- Deletion — you can ask me to delete all your data
- Portability — you can ask for a copy of your data

Age policy
NeuroLearn is designed for students aged 16 and above. The programmes — including Python for data analysis, neuroscience, critical thinking, study skills, and habit science — are appropriate and genuinely beneficial for students from age 16 onwards.
Students aged 16–17 should have parental awareness of their enrolment. By signing up, students in this age group confirm that a parent or guardian is aware they are using the platform.

I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 without parental consent. If you believe someone under 16 has signed up without parental awareness, please contact me immediately.
Changes to this policy
If I make significant changes to this privacy policy, I will email all current students and waitlist members before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
The short version: NeuroLearn is an educational platform. Use it in good faith, do not share access codes, and contact me directly if anything is not working for you.
What NeuroLearn is
NeuroLearn is an online learning platform offering six educational programmes in Python for data analysis, AI literacy, neuroscience, critical thinking, study skills, and habit formation. Each programme includes access to an AI tutor powered by Anthropic's Claude, structured lesson content, and weekly live sessions with Maheesha Jani.
Your account and access
- Your access code is personal — it is issued to you specifically and should not be shared with anyone else
- Each access code grants access to one person for one programme (or multiple programmes, depending on what you purchased)
- If your access code is shared with others without authorisation, I reserve the right to revoke access without refund
- You are responsible for keeping your access code safe
What I commit to delivering
- Access to the lesson content and AI tutor for your enrolled programme(s)
- Weekly live sessions of approximately 30 minutes at an agreed time
- Personal responses to WhatsApp messages within 24 hours (usually much faster)
- Honest, evidence-based educational content
- A working platform — if something breaks, I will fix it as quickly as possible
What NeuroLearn is not
NeuroLearn is an educational platform. The content — including AI tutor responses and live session guidance — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not:
- Professional psychological or mental health advice or therapy
- Medical advice of any kind
- Financial, legal, or professional consulting
- A replacement for professional support if you are experiencing mental health difficulties
If any session content touches on topics that feel personally difficult, please reach out to a qualified professional. I am a neuroscience educator, not a therapist.
AI tutor
The AI tutor is powered by Anthropic's Claude. While I have designed the AI tutor carefully to stay on topic and provide accurate educational guidance, AI systems can occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Always apply your own judgment. The AI tutor is a learning tool, not an authority.
Conversations with the AI tutor are logged and may be reviewed by Maheesha before live sessions to help prepare relevant support.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your access code with others
- Attempt to access other students' data or accounts
- Use the AI tutor in ways unrelated to your programme (attempting to bypass the topic restrictions)
- Record live sessions without prior written consent
- Use NeuroLearn content commercially without permission
- Harass, abuse, or act disrespectfully toward Maheesha in any communication
Intellectual property
All NeuroLearn content — lesson plans, session structures, the AI tutor system design, visual diagrams, and written materials — is the intellectual property of Maheesha Jani. You may use it for your own personal learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without written permission.
Payments and refunds
Founding students
The first 5 founding students receive full access at no charge in exchange for honest feedback and a testimonial. No payment is taken, so no refund policy applies.
Paid students
If you are unhappy with your first session for any reason, contact me within 48 hours of that session and I will issue a full refund, no questions asked. After the first session, refunds are at my discretion and considered case by case — I want every student to feel the programme was worth their investment, and I will work with you to make it right before issuing a refund.
Programme changes
NeuroLearn is a growing platform. I may update lesson content, add sessions, or adjust the AI tutor's behaviour over time — always with the goal of improving your learning experience. I will never reduce what you have paid for without offering a proportional refund.
Limitation of liability
NeuroLearn is provided in good faith as an educational service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maheesha Jani is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NeuroLearn. My total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your programme.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved directly between us — please contact me before pursuing any formal process.
